Marlon Brando

Marlon Brando was an atheist but he also became the Prometheus of modern acting. He was the demi-god who stole the fire from the gods and brought it to his race of thespians. Brando, as the avatar of "The Method," the Stanislavsky based acting style first developed by the Group Theatre - a new acting style based on sensory experience and recalling memories of the past to draw on hidden feelings and emotions to invest in a scene - revolutionized acting.

"One sees great things from the valley;
only small things from the peak."

~ Gilbert K. Chesterton (29 May 1874 – 14 June 1936) ~
