The "First" Contact..

Culture in the Cosmos

As scientists plan for their "first" contact with other worlds, who better to consult with than anthropologists, who specialize in encounters with exotic cultures? Person of the Week!

Roz Savage

After weeks of weather-related delays, a British woman (Roz Savage) set out on Sunday morning from northern California in a bid to become the first female to cross the Pacific solo in a rowboat.

Her 6,700-mile (10,800 kilometer) journey begins with a two to three month paddle to Hawaii, followed by a stop on the South Pacific island of Tuvalu, and finally on to Australia. She hopes to raise awareness of the degraded oceanic environment.

Rush Hour 3 - Review

The Movie Review!

They’re back! This was a great movie! The movie keeps you interested and laughing from the beginning to the end. It had a lot of memorable scenes. Chris Tucker was funny as usual and Jackie Chan did some awesome action. Don't listen to the critics I recommend it to everyone.
